Makenzie joined Zebulon Animal Hospital in August 2026, bringing a lifelong love of animals and over 10 years of experience working with them.

Animals have always been a huge part of Makenzie’s life, and she loves combining that passion with helping pets and their families.

Makenzie has been happily married to her husband, Josh, for three years, and family is very important to her. She is also a proud dog mom to her two Boston Terriers, Burkley and June, who she says are absolutely her children!

Outside of work, Makenzie enjoys all things makeup, beauty, skincare, and self-care. And if there’s sour gummy candy around, she’ll probably have a hard time saying no!
